  • He continued his training to become a child psychiatrist.

  • Dr. Vergamini practiced in Wisconsin and later moved to Oregon, where he worked for 48 years.
  • He provided psychiatric consultation for child and adolescent programs, worked at the University of Oregon Health Center, and maintained a private practice.
  • He served as president of the Oregon Psychiatric Association for one year.
  • He retired in 2020 and is based in Eugene, Oregon.
