This is a story of a journey, an odyssey of sorts, through life, a journey not taken alone, but rather one with an accumulation of friends, of love, of learning, and of sadness. It is not a whole story, but a story of pieces of a life that together form a picture, a landscape, a portrait, that, like life, cannot be captured in one telling.

A very engaging book with an inspiring story. This is a very touching book on the human side of being a doctor, and how it intertwines with the common everyday experience.
